The Dinokeng Tourism Showcase will take place this Heritage Month at Roodeplaat Nature Reserve

The Dinokeng Tourism showcase will take place on 07 and 08 September at Roodeplaat Nature Reserve. Dinokeng has incredible establishments, attractions and experiences to the north-east of Tshwane.

This event will comprise of presentations from tourism specialists and product networking. The business to business programme is directed to tour operators, tour guides, professional conference organizer and other interested professionals in the tourism industry.  Speakers will include Mr. Chris Pieterse the Chairperson of the Dinokeng Tourism OrganiZAtion, Mr. Dumisani Ntshangase from the Dinokeng Project and Tiekie Barnard from Moja Nation.  The afternoon will be dedicated to business to business networking.

Public Event

Date: 8  SEPTEMBER 2018
Venue: ROODEPLAAT NATURE RESERVE
Time: 07:00 onwards

There will be a family day which will include a bird walk, a family walk and a bush brunch including a presentation of “In the Withaak’s Shade” by Herman Charles Bosman.  Many exciting products from the Dinokeng Project area will be on display to educate and entice the general public and especially families to the Dinokeng area.

Dinokeng is a 200 000 Ha area which includes the 18 000 Ha Dinokeng Game Reserve- the only free-roaming Big 5 reserve in Gauteng, Cullinan- the mining village with a romantic atmosphere, Roodeplaat- the water sports hub of Gauteng and Dinokeng Central- a tranquil bushveld destination on your doorstep.

Dinokeng includes restaurants, The Big 5, zip-lining, hot air ballooning, mine tours, 4×4 tracks, mountain biking, hiking trails, fishing, water sports, birdwatching, bush retreats, wedding venues, team building and a whole lot more.
